Independance

Independance is an urban dance resource which is focused on the development of urban arts and culture supporting artists, championing diversity and most significantly creating opportunities for young people to engage in the arts. Independance is a creative, ideas-led project, which is constantly seeking access points for young people to explore their potential, whilst generating opportunities for artists to increase their skills and performance opportunities. Current projects include an empowerment initiative for female hip hop artists.

Noh Budget Films

Committed to the value of theatre and drama for development, and to furthering the education and welfare of socially disadvantaged people, young people and adults. Participatory drama, theatre and related activities are particularly useful for individuals in the criminal justice system and under the auspices of the social services. The approach is useful for advising, educating and training staff in relevant agencies to develop the necessary skills and maintain the use of these art forms in a variety of environments.

Pants on Fire is an award winning theatre company formed in 2004. In our first two years we have produced 3 productions with 25 performers across 4 countries! From original devised shows to classical texts, our performances focus on the ensemble, visual storytelling, energetic play and magical theatricality. Puppets, masks, inventive props, costumes, mime, dance, film projections and live music are all theatrical tools at our disposal. In addition to producing theatre, we provide unique training and performance opportunities.

Pegasus seeks to break down stereotypical racial casting, to allow singers of all ethnic backgrounds an opportunity to play the roles for which they would not normally be cast. Pegasus aims to set a precedent for more multi-racial productions, as evidenced by our casting, encouraging talent equally without regard to cultural heritage or ethnic background.

Alison Goldie is a theatre director and workshop facilitator. She teaches brilliant drama workshops for adults and young people of all abilities, and directs and devises plays with individuals and groups, both professional and amateur. She has worked as an actor, TV and radio presenter, stand-up comedian and improviser for many years, and ran her own theatre company, The Weird Sisters, which toured the world with original shows. Alison offers her services to public and private individuals and companies.

"Unpacked creates high-octane visual theatre fusing physical theatre, new writing, object animation and puppetry. We explore relationships between the capabilities of human bodies in space and created bodies of puppets and objects.
